Visiting neuromorphs tackle biology, technology (Telluride Daily Planet Article)

The Telluride "Grand" Challenge

This year we are organizing at the Telluride Neuromorphic Engineering Workshop a "Grand" Challenge! Its going to be a a friendly mini robot race amidst known obstacles in unknown configurations and orientations.

The winners of the competition will be awarded a KoreBot Robotic Development Board, kindly offered by K-Team.
We will also award other prizes for categories such as Fastest Entry, Coolest Approach,
Most Inspiring-Looking, Most Miserable Performance, Most Integrated Robot.

Robot Race in Telluride

To challenge the neuromorphs gathering in Telluride this summer, Giacomo Indiveri and I (timmer) are organizing a robot race to be held at the end of the workshop that will pit different robot teams against the clock using all of the ingenuity and sensory capability that you can muster.
